100th Birth Anniversary Book Launch
On the occasion of Pandit Amarnath’s 100th birth anniversary on March 22nd 2024, Om Books International brought out his biography in Hindi to commemorate the day.
The Hindi book is titled “Pandit Amarnath-Sangeetnama-Maa Se Sur Ka Naata” and was released at a function held at Kunzum Book Store.
This unique book is authored by his daughter in law Nirmal Chawla who was in conversation with his daughter Gajra Kottary, with his loving disciple Rekha Bhardwaj, who led the captivated audience through the music of the great legend in her soulful voice.
Hindustani Shashtriya Sangeet Ka Shabdakosh - Book Launch
A book release function was organised by Rajkamal Prakashan on 26th November, 2025 at India International Center Annex, New Delhi titled “Lokarpan/Paricharcha (Book Release/Discussion) on the book by Pt. Amarnath and translated by Pt. Rakesh Pathak book title Hindustani Shashtriya Sangeet Ka Shabdakosh. The preface was written by well known Bollywood singer Rekha Bharadwaj.
On this occasion the speakers were Ms. Amarjit Jas, Hindustani Classical Vocal – Guru, Ms. Nisha Mahajan, Kathak Exponent and Yoga Guru, Ms. Rekha Bharadwaj, well known Bollywood singer, Ms. Gajra Kottary, writer and daughter of Pandit Amarnath and Pandit Rakesh Pathak, Hindustani Classical Vocal – Guru and translator of the book.
